The seated lady wears full pagoda sleeves fashionable from the late 1850s to 1863. The standing lady wears modified pagoda sleeves which were popular from the late 1850s though 1863. The under sleeve pattern is included.

This pattern is multi-sizes 10 through 20. All sizes require 2-1/3 Yds. of 45 inch wide fabric.

#700 1850-1862 Fashionable Skirt.

The skirt can be gathered and flounced, knife-plaited or box plaited. The original fabric of the ruffled skirt and the gathered bodice is a thin cream cotton embroidered with green evergreens. The plaited skirt and the fitted bodice fabric is a light weight plaid wool of dark green, light green, rust and cream.
