    Campaigner Shirt... $90.00    Dress shirt made of off-white or white linen or quality cotton print with hand felled seams, hand sewn button holes, detachable collar, 3/8 inch china buttons and machine sewn body (as is original that pattern is made from). Cotton fabric is comparable to Family Heirloom Weavers fabric. This shirt is endorsed by the "Watch" Dog. Following is an excerpt from the DOG:
          "Often when the DOG has been set up at an event, we are asked about a recommendation for a source for men's shirts. As often is the case, the person is not looking for a place to order a museum quality, entirely hand sewn shirt, but an immediate source there in the field merchant area. Until a few months ago I would not have been willing to suggest a "best available" solution for this. Last August I discussed the lack of higher quality "off the shelf" shirts with Linda Lammers of the Cedar Creek Supply Depot. She showed me some new shirts that she had made using Past Pattern's #007 Mid-nineteenth century shirt patter. They were constructed using cotton fabric from Family Heirloom Weavers. I purchased one ($90) at the Franklin 140th event, which I have worn and washed several times. I am quite satisfied that it was a good purchase. The Lammers are also recommended sources for bootees, knapsacks and leather items."

Patterns are multiple sizes 10 through 20 with fully illustrated instructions. The sleeves are interchangeable; e.g. the peg top sleeves of 701 would be appropriate with the fig. 803 pioneer dress.
